Kids Care Camp (KCC) is a 4 week summer program designed for children and teenagers to develop life skills that will translate into real world application.

Schools often provide academic tutoring, but rarely offer enough support for building social skills and emotion identification and regulation.

With technology leading the way with social interactions, it is critical for children to engage in social interactions that practices healthy conflict so they can develop self-regulating techniques. In this camp, members will embark in developing social skills by creating healthy friendships while learning how to deescalate conflict and regulate emotions.

Since the curriculum is geared towards meeting the needs of each group, no 4 week session will be the exact same. You may see similar topics covered, but with children, repetition and reinforcement will help store information in the Hippocampus for long-term memory storage. To create an environment to ensure optimal success for each child, classes are limited to 5 spots.

In this Camp, students will learn:

-Social Skills such as, but not limited to: conflict resolution, identifying emotions and how they affect the body, cool-down strategies, building healthy friendships,

-practice applying social skill

-Emotion and identification

-Breathing techniques for deregulation

-Yoga poses
